On Sunday I had the pleasure of attending a blogger ‘Galentine’s’ brunch with a bunch of amazing women. It was thrown by Jenna Nedwick, a fellow @WestchesterBloggerBabe whom I met at Eliptica Studios in Greenwich one Saturday morning after a good sweat sesh organized by Simone, another WB babe. Are you noticing a pattern?
As a result of attending these events, I rolled out a domino-effect that brought me to sipping on a refreshing Pear Sangria.
Let me explain.
If I hadn’t gone to Simone’s Bloomingdale’s event last September, I wouldn’t have connected with her, and therefore not have seen that she was putting together a workout where I met Jenna, who then connected with me on Instagram and invited me to the brunch. At the class, I also met Sheila, another blogger, who I now have a March date scheduled to do a shoot with. Thanks to this brunch, I also have five other amazing girls who understand all the nerdy blog things that get me excited.
Isn’t that something?
Once upon a time, I thought I was alone in this. I hadn’t imagined that there could be a blogger network out there that boasted so many beautiful, like-minded babes, especially in Westchester. We’re all working towards the same goal while simultaneously ready and willing to empower each other to reach it. Feels pretty amazing to be part of something like that.
Jenna’s brunch brought us together to get to know what we were about – cats was not surprisingly a big topic! We ate delicious food and sipped on tasty drinks at Fig & Olive in Eastchester. The vibe was light and fun and the staff could not have been nicer.
The icing on the cake was the cookies and cake pops Jenna gave out by the very talented bakery The Poppery. They were Ariana Grande themed and we were seriously fan-girling over them.
Clink, clink! To the girls I met and the ones I already knew, I say…
Thank u, next time we meet for dinner!
