The Most Wearable #OOTD’s from the 2016 Met Gala

The Met Gala is simply the Super Bowl of fashion. Each year, Anna Wintour decides on a theme and celebs prepare for months on executing it flawlessly, or at least, they attempt to do it flawlessly. This year the theme was announced back in October: “Manus x Machina: Fashion in the Age of Technology.” This seems fitting, since we can’t seem to break up with our smart phones, we’ve got robots that clean for us and cars that parallel park themselves. I’m personally waiting to donate to Rosie from the Jetsons’ Kickstarter page.

Like all girls, I love to see the gowns that are so extravagant and costume-like, you feel like you’re arriving at a ball so eccentric, you’d think The Beast was playing host. This year I was pleasantly surprised to say “I would totally wear that!” in my every day life to more than a few outfits.

From Selena Gomez, to my adorable SJP, even Michelle Williams, Jennifer Connelly, Willow Smith and Tavi Gevinson had themed outfits that I would ask to borrow directly without taking a synch of inspiration. I would totally wear their “costumes” just as they are and walk out of the house.

Taking inspiration from celeb fashion is always fun, but when you see something that you would wear without changing a thing, is certainly relatable. Oh and also… Combat Boots! (Yayyy.)
